That is too stinking cute!!

Farmgirl Susan

I just found your blog via Sweet Life in the Valley - what fun! And now I'm smacking my forehead in disbelief because I can't believe I never thought to store baking soda in a baking powder container. Thanks for the great idea! And congratulations on your new book! : )

Bobbi

Can I come live in your kitchen? This is great!

Serena Thompson

Thank you for all your comments and questions. The smaller spice jars are glass with white plastic lids from Cost Plus World Market. Most of the labels on those little spice jars are from here:

and a few from here:

Happy organizing!

Just found you through One Pretty Thing. I must admit, my boyfriend and I dream about having a pretty spice drawer. That's so clever to save your baking powder containers. Can I ask what you use for the smaller containers? Maybe I missed that... Thanks!

Rachel

Oh that is beautiful, I love it! What a fun project, I'll be linking.

Robin (rsislandcrafts)

Great idea! That drawer would make me smile every time I opened it.

Nicoleigh

That's a great way to add some fun color to any kitchen! Wondering, what did you use on the lids to label the smaller spice containers? I like all the different colors and styles you have.

beth

This is so cool! I love this idea. I am so going to be looking at my spices a little different now.

Judy

Cute idea!

Jackie

Hey! :-)
I pre-ordered your book from amazon!
Im excited!!!

jenny

What a super idea!!! Sure makes it easy to find those spices. I always have to shove things out of the way to find what I'm looking for.

Michelle

What a great idea! Love the polka dots. This is practical without having to spend a lot of money too!

Vicki K

GREAT idea! I have always liked that little leveling-off part and now I will hang on to these as I use them. Cute contact paper--I haven't seen anything cute like those dots for a long time!

I cannot wait to order your upcoming book!

abigail

Sooooooooo adorable!
My only problem....I've only bought one thing of baking powder in like 3 years! heheheeh! Oh well.... I still love the idea!!!!

chas at the wild raspberry

WOW! Love this idea. I need to get baking so I can have some empty baking powder containers. CUTE-CUTE-CUTE. I wonder, "How do people come up with such good ideas?"
Have a good day!

Maryjane

Drop on by my place and see my little 1957 Vintage Travel Trailer! I have her (ButtonWillow) all decked out in PINK cowgril!

What a simple yet so cute idea! Your blog/website is always so bright and cheerful and I love stopping by to visit it. Came to your show last year and had so much fun...hope to come again sometime and maybe someday even have a booth :0) God bless you both!

Elaine

Such a great, adorable and practical idea. You girls are such busy little bees! I've been busy too getting ready for your show. I believe it's less than 19 weeks. :-)

Donna

I love that how cute.... When is your book coming out? I can't wait to get it!! I love your blog and I wish I could come to the Farm Chicks show, but I live in Michigan...boo hoo (You should go on the road).
