Once again gazing at the photos of your uncluttered decor. I am inspired to dig in today, and make my house filled with eye-candy wherever I look, just like yours!

White Dining Table

I love how you make things so simple and clear. I'm really having fun reading and seeing it all.

Marguerite Butzow

I am a farm wife/farm chic in East central IL. I live in a log home, but just love your sunny "farm chick chic" decor!

I love your old signs and cans, and especially your old linens and aprons. I inherited home made aprons and embroidered linens and hankies, as well as crocheted and tatted doilies from my grandmother and great aunts. They are something to be cherished, since I feel it has almost become a lost art.

Your web site is a refreshing look at the simple things in life. Thank you!
I am so blessed to live on a farm where I can enjoy bird watching, planting flowers, and taking care of our small waterfall and pond. You are a great inspiration :)

Minke

You have a Lovely home! Nice and sunny!

jerusalem

love the house! and I agree with everyone - I am desperate to know the name of the yellow you used! I am always searching for the perfect yellow...
Also, love your couches. those on my list and I always love to see them turn-up in other peoples houses, then I can see that they are worth the effort to go to Ikea (5 hrs away) and get them!

fairmaiden

I love your farm chick cottage. Such a cheerful place.

Kim

I absolutely love your home! I wish mine was so neat and tidy! I love the simplicity of it! My home has all those type of colors in it but I don't get the right type of light coming in to make it seem so light and airy! Mine also isn't so artfully arranged! You are truley an inspiration!

casapinka

Such a happy and gorgeous home. : )

Camila

Your entire house is beautiful! I totally fell in love with the decoration... I loved it! Congratulations!

Christina D.

I love the pictures of your beautiful home! Could you please tell me how you created the decorative top on your kitchen table? Thank you!

CountryMama

Love the pics...especiall the kitchen! Silly question here though...where is your cooktop/oven? (you do have one, I'm sure??!!) I ask because I have an L-shaped kitchen we're looking to expand by knocking out the side wall, and you have the same countertop setup with the same sink, DW, and fridge placement, so I was wondering where your appliances were??!!

Liz

Your home is marvelous! Wow, I'm going to have to favorite this; I love your organization skills. Yes, I called them skills. Could you please teach me? :)

Dee

A beautiful home. Muddy footprints are the best part.~~Dee

Mermaid Debbie

Thank you for sharing pics of your beautiful home. I agree with you... Eastern Washington is a beautiful place to live. I love it here, my home too. You continue to be an inspiration to me and obviously... others!

Lori

What kind of flooring do you have? Is that real wood? It is so beautiful!

Lori

Serena
Simply put, one word, FABULOUS!! Curious, is the table and chairs vintage or new? Also does it leaves any marks on the floor? Thanks,Lori

Kristeen Gough ( The Gough Inn )

your home is absolutely lovely-- but may I as how do you kind it so clean with boys? Wink!

Kristin

Your home is gorgeous. So airy and fresh! I adore your kitchen! The pendant lights are divine. : )

Megan Walker

Love, love, love your house! What a treat to have a special tour! And that corner of your universe is truly God's country - once you've visited, you're changed forever. We used to live in Sandpoint and I'd go back at the drop of the hat.

Meg :)

Thank you for sharing you rbeautiful house with me-I'm so inspired!

D'Anna

Thank you so much for sharing your home with us! I liked everything but was especially impressed with the coffee bar/wine rack area in your kitchen. We will have a little area near our kitchen but set off just a little . . . I was thinking of a built-in buffet but I think a coffee bar would really be more our style! (we're building a little country home in a Russian village!)
Thank you!

Courtney

Loving this glimpse into your sweet home...and what an inspiration on the clutter free and organized front! I will take my lessons from you! Thanks for sharing!

Jennifer

wow ask and you shall receive. I am the Jen that asked for more pictures of your home and guess what I got. Thanks so much. You have a darling clean fresh organized home. Clutter free I might add.

Thanks again.

I can look and dream, but five minutes of me being there and I know it would be in disarray. Be thankful for your talent.

Alice

Beautiful home! So bright and cheery, yet cozy at the same time. Thanks so much for giving us the tour.

Miss Giny

Excuse my french ! ... It's so cute your home ! I will soon move in to (well it will not be as big as your house!) and you give me lots of decorating ideas! Thank you!

What is the name and brand of paints that you used in your kitchen and living room? They're so pretty and light. I live in Northern Washington and we've been having a lot of gray days here, I need something happy to lift my spirits!

I love my home. But I was just saying to myself the other day...I would love for the bright light of morning to feed in through the windows!!! We get afternoon sun, which is nice, but nothing is quite like waking up to fresh, sunshiny rays! : )

Love this post!

Brenda Towsley

Love your home! Everything is so organized in such a pretty way!

I can't believe you're selling!! I'm going to start perusing the real estate flyers to find it! Maybe I'll buy it! Love the light, airy feel and I'm dying over the built ins! Hope those are in the new plans!

Amy

So simple and lovely! Is that oil cloth on your kitchen table and desk top? How did you attach it?

I spied the Bob's Big Boy too...such a blast from the past. My mom used to send my dad on late night Bob's burger runs when she was pregnant...this was in So Cal.
I'm a new subscriber. Thanks for sharing your home. So inspiring. I've been thinking of white twill slipcovers on my couch & haven't felt brave enough b/c I've got little ones still.
I also LOVE the huge Welcome sign.

Love those built in shelves! I would love something like that in my house.
Did I mention how much I like your office? And it's so neat and organized.

Floss

It looks absolutely wonderful! I am amused because I was blogging today about how your blog was the one that got me started last February, and that I found you by Googling labels for my filing boxes. And now I come over here and see your beautifully labeled filing boxes, looking not unlike mine...

Synchronicity!

Jennifer D

Beautiful and so bright. I love it. I just noticed I am the 3rd Jennifer to comment! Jen's love Farm Chicks I guess?

Betsy

Is that contact paper covering your desk top and table top? If so where did you get cute contact paper like that? too cute!

Natasha

It looks beautiful, I wish my house was like this!

Holly

Your office is the most adorable place ever!!! So organized and cheerful and bright!! It must be your "happy place"!! Did you get the desk at Pottery Barn or put it together on your own? I would really like to do the file cabinet/desk also!
I love the prairie out there and every time I go to visit my family in Spokane I head out to the prairie! I especially love to go in the fall and hit all the little farms. If I ever make it back to Spokane I want to be your neighbor!!
I just posted a picture on my blog of the pantry that we just re-did. My husband built an awesome built in for me and I love to show it off!!!
Just ordered some jewelry and it was so nice to get your note-thanks!!!
Have a great day Serena!

Lindsay

I just sighed with contentment! Your house is so bright and fresh! I hope to someday attain that level of organization! Currently, my five year old and two year old daughters are just not allowing it! How did you create the tabletop on your white dining table?

Jen @ 925 frugal

I love the Big Boy Statue in your office :) Did you get that in cincy or is there a story to that?
