The very color of Demi Moore's fabulous apartment walls in St. Elmo's Fire, anyone else remember that?

Monica

A very cheerful color, and a very cheery start to a New Year :)

Love your post Serena, I just put up a linky party about honeysuckle in our homes. http://thatsmyletter.blogspot.com/2011/01/l-is-for-linky.html
It's great to see others thinking about the same topics.

All That Jazz Vintage

Wow, it's a beautiful color! Love it on Bongo's cheeks!! ;-) I can wear that color well but for some reason I gravitate towards autumn colors like oranges. I really should wear more honeysuckle!!

Saw a artical in Style about it being the new "in" color for 2011 but there are many protests, honeysuckle the plant is NOT pink. The flowers go from pale white to dark yellow/orange. Its a flowering vine common to the mid atlantic and I'm sure other places too. A case of some styly editor or paint name picker not knowing what they are talking about. Its a pretty color and a pretty name that dont relate. Those of us who are literal protest.

Really? Honeysuckle is pink?? Shows you what a gardener I am, I would have thought it was , um, honey-colored. I dont think it grows in Fl. so I should be forgiven. I did recognize the Bougainvillea though. I remember having a Honeysuckle scented roll-on perfume by Avon in the '70's that I loved!

Sherman Unkefer

Great color choice! I love your photos!

Vick Cotnoir

How can you not smile with a color like that! It is going to be a great year!

Angie

I love your photos!
Bougainvillea is my favorite tropical plant.
