The sun decided to grace us with its presence today, which made me nearly weep with joy. Instead, I texted Colin, who is somewhere warm and wonderful at the moment and told him it was SUNNY! And then told him to NOT text me back what the temperature was there for fear I just might lose my mind. Instead of telling me the current temp, he texted me this picture from the golf course:
Grrrrrrr... I thought. And then I remembered: Love is never jealous... so I texted him back and told him he looked babe-a-rific! Because he is.
Then I donned some cute little flats, (ignoring the fact that my feet are as white as the snow and the fact that it was 11 degrees today),
grabbed my favorite sunglasses, and popped on over to the market and stocked up on some tropical fruits.
And pretended it was summer. All day.
And then, lo and behold, summer in my mailbox:
Hooray!

hello from chilly snowy Maine! Nope no flats for me! I can't believe you didn't have socks on! Weren't your feet cold?! I would be soo worried I would ruin those cute shoes in some slushy puddle.
sounds like a fun day though!
we are gearing up for a big storm here in the North East. Maybe some tropical citrus in the morning will change thigs around! nice idea!
:)

I am SO looking forward to spring and summer. Winter usually doesn't bother me so much, but this time around I'm starting to go crazy! Glad to know I'm not the only one out there pushing for warmer weather.

those are adorable little black flats! OH scary to think that my piggy's will be uncovered in a few short months....but for now until it gets into the 70's here they are staying HIDDEN, hehehe I just barely put some new polish on the toe nails just for wishful thinking of course!

I too loved yr catalogs, especially the RIce one I could do all my birthday present shopping in it. However, I can't find a way to purchase items in the US?

I woke up to a beautiful unexpected snow today, which I love. But, that said, I am ready for warmer weather already. Target is the biggest tease of them all. The store is filled with adorable spring break clothes already. That gets me every year!

Good for you. We could use a little summer this way. The kids are dragging their feet this morning and muttering something about the stupid snow, stupid school....blah...~Kelly
