I wanted to tell you about my favorite fashion accessory right now: Gold!

Not real gold, silly. Faux is just fine, and affordable too. Faux is still just as pretty to me.

@katelyn: have you tried taking your wedding ring to a jewelry store and having them paint the inside with a special material that keeps your finger from breaking out? I am sorry I don't recall the name of the stuff. I only have problems with yellow gold and that fixed the problem.

I painted my nails a pretty gold this weekend. Teamed with some faux gold hoops.. it looks very smart with winter white! This is a very big change for me, I am a silver and turquoise kind of chick.

I so do that too! One year I had a major thing for scarves (I think I bought about 50 total). Most recently it has been high-heeled shoes which I haven't bought any of bc I'm out of work and broke, sadness! :'( New pretties for my apt has been my latest obsession, as of the last 2 or 3 days. :) A girl can dream, right?

I love gold too!! When we did our family pictures this year our colors were, ivory, black, and gold.
I am allergic to most metals so I can't wear much jewelry. Anything plastic will work. lol! It is very sad that I can't even wear my wedding ring! I've tried just about everything.

I have loved wearing faux gold this winter, too. I've mixed it with really pretty jewel tones and have really enjoyed the warm color combination.
