Made these for Valentine's Day and we all loved them. So simple and yummy!

Hi Julie Ann,
I'm sorry to hear yours didn't turn out like mine. I really pride myself on putting out realistic recipes with true images.
I'm wondering if you wrapped the cakes in plastic wrap? If not, that would definitely be the problem.
Thanks so much for your feedback and I hope your next batch works out better for you.
All the best,
Serena

The pictures in this post LOOK beautiful...but mine did not look like that after being in the refrigerator overnight. They were drying out on the edges. Maybe I didn't whip the marscapone enough? They were delicious, no doubt, but are these "lightly retouched" photographs or are they the "real deal?" Can you share any suggestions as to how I can make mine LOOK fantastic instead of like sad chocolate lumps? I did follow your instructions to the letter. Thank you.

Serena

Bernie,
The recipes makes 6-8, depending on how much filling is used. :)

One of my customers makes the cutest mini desserts (unfortunately not edible). She uses bottle caps for the pie tins! So cute! Anyhoo, just thought I would share: http://www.etsy.com/shop/PewterGoblet?ref=seller_info

Oooh, this sounds like a "book club" dessert to me. How many does this recipe make?

My mom use to make a dessert similar to that- it's one of my favorites! Never had it with the jam! I will definitely have to try it! Now it's time for bed and I'm craving chocolate!

Monica
