I really love vintage rosary bracelets. I came across my first one at an estate sale and have found many more at flea markets over theyears. I like to layer several together at one time and enjoy the way
they jingle jangle together on my wrist.

Actually, as a Catholic school girl all my life, I know it IS ok to wear them as a sign of your faith. But to wear one when you do NOT believe in what it stands for or inappropriately- like the full rosary necklaces worn in some music videos- is not good. So no wrries for most people I know, who like you gals, are good at geart. These smaller bracelet ones are just one decade of the full Catholic rosary- handy to have when you are waiting or stressed and just need to meditate and pray.
And, they look fabulous too.

Hi girls, well, actually I was a Catholic school girl all my growing up years and I don't think it's OK to wear rosaries as jewelry--they're like prayerbooks or bibles, meant to be used in that way. However, I do agree with Anita that the smaller bracelet ones would give one the opportunity to use to meditate or pray. They are sweet and the sentiment behind them is wonderful.

They are beautiful, I think wearing them as jewelry is a reminder of a soul connection and a symbol of love and dedication.
I am seeing a lot of religious themed items out there.Cards,books,statues and artwork.
