There are some really cute crocheted "buckets" you can make as well. But there's nothing like a flea market with a old "tin" with old logos on it.

When I was growing up my family (incl. my gr. grandma and grandpa) picked huckleberries using those old tin lard cans. They had nice handles on them. If I found a nice one I would surely buy it.

I'm sitting here laughing at myself. I read your first line as "oil" cans! I kept looking at the wonderful can in your photo and couldn't figure out the "oil" part! LOL
You are so right and I buy every pretty one I can find. I especially love using them for gift baskets. ♥
