An architect who doesn't mind me popping in to her office to discuss my ideas....
Going here to get building permits and it only taking a half an hour. Isn't our courthouse beautiful?

I love our courthouse! I remember seeing it as a little girl driving across the bridge and thinking it was a real castle. When my daughter was little she thought it was Cinderella's castle. I didn't spoil her fun- let them dream, right? Hope you have a great day!!

That courthouse looks like a CaStLe!!! I love old courthouses, I wish I could have seen those days back then when they were being built & the early times when people then were working in them, all the old record books filed everywhere before all the computers... Old times.
Thanks for sharing.

Have been following you for a little while now and want to say thank you for your beautiful photos and your wonderful thoughts. I am in a huge transition in my life right now and it is just one day at a time and I enjoy all the inspiration that others have to share. I use my blog as somewhat of a gratitude journal and as my eye on the prize so to speak and I love women who inspire which in turn empowers others. Many do not realize the impact that they have and I just wanted to share your little impact on me. Thank You and keep sharing those beautiful pics.
Always, Shelly

Life is good when you recognize the little things in our day. How many people do you think drive by that and see a trip to the courthouse, instead of the beauty and history? Your vision is truly a gift! Have a good day!

The courthouse is WAY better than the health building!

Fasinated by the process of planning and building your own home...getting ready to do that myself. Who is your architect, what has been your process, and any suggestions? Thanks, Laura at artgardenlaura.blogspot.com

Oh, I have always loved our beautiful Spokane County Courthouse. When I was a little girl my Grandpa had an office in it and I loved visiting him. My dad always told me that a princess lived in the top of the turret. When we drove up Maple, he would say, "Look, there she is, waving her handkerchief," I always saw her. Truly I did!

When I was a little girl, and we would drive by the courthouse, I always thought it looked like a castle .... especially at night.

by the way have you ever noticed the sweet lace curtians in the top window? When you look at your posted photo, go into the right, in that common area,in the kinda of enclosed court yard look way up to the roof line, there is a window with lace curtains.

What a wonderful blog...just discovered you!I noticed the Rejuvination catalog in the first picture as I am currently pouring over their wares as well as School House Electrics for my new house. In the thick of it, there are so many choices. Trying not to stray from the farm house feel I want even though it isn't really a complete farmhouse, it's a mix. All the best to you in the building of your new home.

I grew up in a neighborhood not far from the court house. My Godfather and namesake was a judge and my parents always referred to it as my Godfather's castle. I think I thought everyone had a beautiful court house like we did!
