Cute little place settings are such a fun addition to the Easter table. For these little egg cup markers, I simply filled each one with rice, topped them with moss and poked little handmade toothpick flags in with each person's name.

LOVE it - where are those egg cups from? Or do you know where I can find some cute but plain ones? I can only find weird novelty ones...

I got some egg cups like that at target last year..I put my collection of pretty eggs in them. I added little tags around the thin part of the egg cup with Family member's names. Serena's are so sweet with moss and lil flag!!!

These are great, and so easy! Another cute idea along the same lines is to fill (almost to the top) the egg cup, small flower pot or other cute container with some potting soil, top with uncracked wheat (get it in bulk at your local super market - it's really inexpensive) and water as you would any seeds. Cover loosely with plastic wrap to create a little greenhouse and place in a window sill or somewhere your little gardens will get plenty of light. When the seeds sprout, remove the plastic and keep them moist with a spray of water every day or so. Soon you'll have a little pot of grass where you can nestle a foil covered chocolate egg or two. Add the name flag and you'll have an extra treat in your place card! Super cute idea, and if you plant now they should be ready by Easter! Enjoy!
