Are you headed to The Farm Chicks Antiques Show this weekend? Well, I have a little surprise in store...
... a sweet little gift for the first 1,000 shoppers on SUNDAY!
Last year, I surprised 1,000 shoppers with a cloth grocery tote bag. What will it be this year?
P.S. It's not candy :)
I hope to see you at the show!
P.P.S. If you'd rather avoid the crowds, Sunday is the very best day to visit the show. And the best part? Vendors re-stock for Sunday, many times with entirely new displays. Less crowded and a free gift? You don't want to miss it!

Sounds like a lot of fun and who doesn't like a FREE gift. Smiles, Paula

I've been coming on Sundays for five years and it's always my favorite day!!! More relaxed. Great opportunities to talk with the terrific vendors. Just lovely.

Just returned from the show yesterday. It was everything I thought it would be and more! My "local Farmchick buddy" and I drove from Oregon for the day. We had great directions, but turned the wrong way on Broadway. Not to worry, we found some super yard sales and estate sales. It was so fun! By the time we got to the show, it was easier to find parking. Although it was still crowded inside, it was wonderful! Thanks so much for the great time! We'll be back next year!

My daughter and I went for the first time! The early admission was WEll WORTH it! We were done by 11:30 am and headed to tons of garage sales and such. We would have stayed for the day if the crowds were not so intense. The vendors were great but man, some of the customers could well learn a lesson in manners - both to customers and vendors! I spoke up for one vendor...I was so MAD! Rude, rude, rude! I also think that it is Not a place for strollers! We have enough to deal with with all the carts - GUILTY! I think you need to extend the bays so the vendors have more room to display their wares..just my observation!

Spent a fabulous day with my great friend, Taffy! We were inspired and overwhelmed by all the clever displays...found so many treasures to fill my truck. Just the inspiration I need as I build my new store in Moses lake! Had such a great time... Great show, next year I'm bringing my trailer!!!! Thanks ladies for all the hard work...fantastic job!!!

Hi Serena! I am thrilled to hear how well the show went this year. My mom and I have been planning to go for months and Friday night my sweet hard working love of my life hubby got kidney stones. Poor guy, it was a horrible weekend for him and I knee I just couldn't leave him alone. Early in the morning Sunday loaded up on pain meds he said 'oh no! this weekend is your farm chicks show', it made me feel better to know that he knew that I put him first over a weekend I look forward to all year. I will definitely be there next year! Unless of course My Honey has more kidney stones. Rest well Serena after a job well done! I can't to read

Fun weekend, and almost recovered. My sister flew up from CA, my daughter drove up from Eugene, my daughter-in-law came from the gorge and I from Eastern Oregon. We all found fun stuff. My d.i.l.'s dad waited in line for our early tickets on Friday (great idea) we stayed until the bitter end Saturday and were in line at 8:30am Sunday anticipating a "fun" gift.......No gift!!! Was it the note pad given with the early ticket purchases? If so, you should have worded it so. We felt mislead and would have opted for 1 1/2 hours more sleep than waiting in line. It didn't seem like we needed to be there early. All in all good and I shouldn't get hung up on a small thing.

Hi Jan,
I'm sorry for the confusion on the gift. Yes, the Farm Chicks Kitchen Notebooks were the gift. We decided to give them out to those who purchased their Sunday tickets early, so you wouldn't miss out, and since technically, you were among the first 1,000. I guess next time we'll just wait until you pass through the gates, the day of, to pass them out. We thought we were being helpful. I apologize.
Best wishes,
Serena

Loved the show!!! Was hoping to come back on Sunday - VERY bummed to find out we had to pay again to get in!! Not fair - all other shows allow all weekend attendance - I am sure you lost several good paying customers cause of this decision - For those who have to spend money on gas to get there, then on top of that -pay twice to get in-I had to pass this year! Totally agree with the post above - whats with all the strollers? Not the time or place - take a day off and leave the precious little ones home for a few hours!!

Hi Carla,
I'm glad to hear you enjoyed the show. I'm sorry you were disappointed in having to pay admission both days. I've worked very hard to keep rates as low as I possibly can and still make the show viable for my business. My insurance rates have continued to increase, facility costs, labor (huge increase in staffing, including those staff you don't see... janitorial and security), and I have to pay for the use of the parking lot, for which I don't charge a fee, whereas many shows do charge to park. I think it would be lousy to arrive to the show and find out you have to pay for parking, whereas I very clearly state on everything that is published about the show that the show is $7 per day. Once again, I'm sorry for your disappointment and wish you all the best. Sincerely, Serena
