One way to add Christmas cheer (or any season for that matter) to your kitchen is to add wrapping paper to the cupboards.
You can line the back of the cupboards, inside the doors if they're glass, or line the inset panels on the front of your doors.
Simply cut the paper to fit the spaces you'll be covering and attach with removable double sided tape. It's quick, simple, and darling!
You can find this project and many more, as well as decorating ideas, recipes, and Christmas cheer in my book, The Farm Chicks Christmas.

So cute love this. I have your book and I just love looking through it. Can't wait to see more of your house decorated through Christmas.

Last year I did trim on the shelves inside the cupboards....just a bit of holiday bling, as my kitchen opens into living/dining...

That's a cute idea ;) :) When I was living overseas, I covered my entire door in wrapping paper and ribbon...just to bring more festive cheer to my home :) :) Have a great weekend. Love and hugs from the ocean shores of California, Heather :)

One thing that I do is wrap ribbon around the cupboard doors so they look like presents. I don't do all of them just random ones. It's pretty quick and easy to do.You can see them at the end of this post from last year. http://homesteadersheart.blogspot.com/2010/12/random-thoughts-this-christmas-season.html
Have a lovely day.

Serena, I just love your Christmas book. I found it last year after the holidays and looked at every single page over and over again. I have been looking all year for a pattern to make that awesome pink, white and red afghan that appears on page 54 in the book. If you happen to know, I would love to find out how to make this! Those two pages are my all time favorite in the entire book but I love it all! You are a great story teller and your stories are so awesome!
