We woke up to a snow day today. No school.
I think we'll take a little walk. I love the silence that snow provides. Nature's sound proofing.
And then I want to come home and bake. Make soup. Do laundry. Because it feels like the cozy thing to do.
On our snow day.

I love days like that, and homemade soup and bread sounds like what I will do too.

I live on a hill outside of Seattle, so we've been snowed in all week. Like you, I've been baking, and yesterday, made your Cinnamon Rolls from your cookbook. One word for those: S I N F U L. I blew my diet with eating one of those, but wait. I had TWO, because they're so darn good!

Nothing like a snow day to take some time to reconnect with your family, reconnect with yourself and find your oven.

No snow here on the central coast of California. However, it is really raining hard outside today :) :) I'm staying indoors listening to a radio program on my computer. Later I'll cozy up to the tv and work on some knitting ;) :) :)

We don't have snow days but we do have hurricane days every once and awhile. I will admit that the snow is very pretty. But you can keep it. LOL!
Have a lovely night.

Even though I retired from teaching in June, I still love a snow day, even if I don't have to go in anyway!
